Mack Sennett was an Academy Award winning director and early Hollywood movie making giant. This 4 DVD Mack Sennett Films Set contains four of Sennett's most entertaining films. Known as an innovator of slapstick and the then "King of Comedy,"Sennett produced films with a savvy and gusto that overcame certain obstacles - like microscopic budgets. He most famously invented the Keystone Kops, dunderheaded policemen who figured heavily into comedy films. Another characteristic of Sennett that set him apart was his eye for talent: Sennett elevated the likes of Charlin Chaplin and Harry Langdon to the superstardom they later enjoyed (both Langdon and Chaplin are included in this collection). Mack Sennett is a Hollywood legend and this 4 DVD Set features some of his wonderful films.
